Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a seasoned construction supervisor to lead paving and concrete crews in Fort Worth, TX. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee daily activities to meet safety and schedule targets.

Responsibilities include equipment operation oversight, record keeping, and enforcing all safety rules while communicating clearly with leadmen and crews to ensure quality workmanship. The role requires hands-on leadership, toolbox meetings, and adherence to company and government safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of supervising paving/concrete groups.
• Ability to plan tasks, train crews and supervise safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out sequence of activities for assigned crew.
• Responsible for timely completion of work within estimated costs while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Responsible for crew safety and conducting operations according to safety rules.
• Develop and maintain crew attitude by toolbox meetings and communicating safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules.
• Monitor compliance with company policies.
