Job summary

American Rock Products., a CRH company, seeks a truck driver for delivering ready-mix concrete to construction sites. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, operate a mixer truck, and maintain records while delivering top-tier service to customers in the field.

In this role, training is available; experience is helpful but not required. The position includes a wage range with potential overtime and a supportive team culture within CRH’s national network.

Qualifications

• Current Class A or B CDL with self-certification of non-excepted interstate and current DOT medical card.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.
• Safety sensitive: pre-employment drug screening including cannabis metabolites.
• Demonstrates the ability to work in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude in a team environment and willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle to ensure safe order and report issues.
• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, following dispatch instructions.
• Maintain communication with Dispatcher regarding deliveries and complete delivery tickets.
• Ensure proper materials loaded safely and obtain signatures as required.
• Maintain operator logs and reports per company policy and DOT regulations.
• Follow safety rules and promptly communicate with supervisors on any material flaws.
