Job Description

Concrete Mixer Drivers assure the safe and timely delivery of concrete and/or concrete building products to the customer. It is also the responsibility of the driver to care for and provide basic maintenance of the mixer truck, complete all necessary paperwork, assist with available work at the plant and maintain good public relations with customers.

Requirements

• Operate mixer truck (both manual and automatic transmission) in all types of environments, including off road, on job sites
• Ability to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors
• Aptitude to read, write, and perform basic math
• Possess an up-to-date DOT physical and valid class A or B commercial driver’s license with at least one year of applicable experience
• Ability to pass and maintain a federal DOT drug and alcohol screening
• Must maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and company policy
• Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures, including wearing of required safety equipment and clothing
  
  

Additional Information

• Daily overtime after 8 hours and on Saturday
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturday work during the peak season, is required
• Scheduled pay increase at 6 months of employment and annually thereafter
