Job summary

CTL Engineering provides a hands-on Concrete Laboratory Technician role based in Cleveland, OH. The successful candidate will perform testing on concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and other construction materials, following industry standards to ensure project compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical lab work beneficial.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing on construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt).
• Prepare samples, handle storage, and maintain sample integrity.
• Document results accurately and report test outcomes.
• Operate laboratory testing equipment and ensure PPE compliance.
• Maintain lab organization and assist field personnel as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and communicate test status with supervisors.
