Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Winston-Salem, NC is looking for dedicated individuals to work in a hands-on production role. This position involves stripping finished concrete products and assisting in form breakdown while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Candidates should be available for overnight shifts, have a strong work ethic, and preferably possess experience in manufacturing or construction. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Day 1 benefits are available including medical, vision, and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Available to work overnight starting at 1 AM until production is complete.
• Comfortable with heavy, hands-on work including lifting and bending.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physical production environment.

Responsibilities

• Strip finished concrete products from forms after curing.
• Work with a crew to break down forms for the next production cycle.
• Use tools to assist with breakdown tasks.
• Clean and prep molds and materials for reuse.
• Assist with moving products safely using tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.

What You’ll Do

• Strip ("tip out") finished concrete products from forms after curing


• Work as part of a crew to break down forms and prepare them for the next production cycle


• Use hand tools and equipment to assist with form breakdown


• Clean, scrape, and prep molds and materials for reuse


• Assist with moving products and materials safely using tools/equipment


• Maintain a clean, organized work area


• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE

What You’ll Need

• Available to work overnight starting at 1 AM until production is complete (typically 8-10 hours)


• Comfortable with heavy, hands-on work (lifting, bending, pushing, pulling)


• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced, physical production environment


• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic


• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively on a team


• Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred
