Job summary

Commercial Metals in Greencastle is looking for dedicated individuals to support the production of precast concrete products. Candidates should be prepared for physical work that includes lifting and manipulating materials.

This role involves setup, pouring, leveling, and various finishing tasks within our manufacturing facility. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential. A high school diploma or GED is required; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment
• Set up and prepare molds/forms (clean, assemble, apply release agents)
• Place reinforcing materials (rebar, wire mesh, embeds) per specifications
• Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete
• Support curing process and strip finished products from molds
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, marking/stenciling)
• Cut and tie wire/rebar as needed for reinforcement
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, and kneeling) for extended periods

• Availability for overtime, including weekends as needed
• Ability to work well on a team to meet production goals
