Job summary

Walbec Group in Madison, WI is seeking a Laborer to support road construction projects across the Midwest. You will perform physical labor, concrete demolition and repair, and assist foremen on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years road construction laborer experience preferred.
• Must be punctual, dependable and able to work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Support layout and construction of roads and related structures.
• Concrete demolition and repair tasks as needed.
• Keep machines and equipment maintained and assist in site clean-up.
• Follow Foreman or management directions and operate in varied weather conditions.

Whether building bridges, stabilizing shorelines, rehabilitating structures, or providing site engineering and construction solutions for solar , Walbec is your bridge to expertise in construction and engineering.With safety and ethics at the core of everything we do, our experienced professionals are hard at work on commercial and industrial sites throughout the Midwest.The Position:We're looking for a Laborer responsible for many tasks that require physical labor supporting all aspects in the layout and construction of roads and related structures to include concrete demolition, concrete repair, keeping machines and equipment maintained, assist in clean-up of job site, and other duties assigned by the Foreman or other management.Requirements :Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.Class A CDL strongly desired.High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.Must be punctual and dependable.Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.Member of a Local Laborer Union, or willingness to become a union member are required.
