Job summary

Byrne & Jones Construction in Kentucky is seeking skilled Concrete Laborers to join our committed team. Candidates must have 3+ years of concrete or asphalt experience, adhering to safety protocols and displaying professionalism is critical. The role involves assisting in asphalt distribution and ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• 3+ years of asphalt or concrete experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew members in work completion where required.
• Ensure proper distribution and leveling of asphalt during paving operations.
• Distribute hot mix asphalt onto surfaces using hand tools.
• Display professionalism and courtesy towards others.
• Adhere strictly to safety requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew members in the completion of work where required
• Responsible for ensuring the proper distribution and leveling of asphalt during paving operations within the paving crew.
• Assist in the distribution of hot mix asphalt onto prepared surfaces using lutes, shovels, and other hand tools.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, customers, and the public
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Class A CDLpreferred
• Ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of asphalt or concrete experience
• Willing to work occasional weekends and unexpectedly longer hours when necessary
