Job summary

Byrne & Jones in Kentucky is looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. This role involves placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete across various projects. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience and a valid Driver's License.

You will assist with concrete operations, monitor curing conditions, and ensure quality standards are met. Our work environment requires outdoor commitment in all weather conditions. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after 30 days of hire.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete in various construction projects. This role requires knowledge of proper concrete finishing techniques, tools, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew in execution of work, including demolition, formwork, and finishing of concrete
• Set forms that hold concrete in place for structures such as sidewalks, curbs, floors, and driveways
• Meet daily production goals by understanding and performing all aspects of concrete operations
• Monitor the effects of weather on concrete curing and take necessary precautions
• Repair and resurface worn or damaged concrete surfacesEnsure work meets job specifications and quality standards
• Perform other routine duties as directed by the Foreman
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean job site

Qualifications
