Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking a production teammate to support the manufacturing of precast concrete products from setup through shipment. You will set up molds/forms, place reinforcing materials, and assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete.

The role requires physical work (up to 50 lbs), reliability, teamwork, and attention to safety. We offer Day 1 benefits, PTO, 401(k) with company match, bonuses, life and disability insurance, and ongoing training and advancement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform physical work (lift up to 50 lbs.).
• Reliable attendance and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment.
• Set up and prepare molds/forms (clean, assemble, apply release agents).
• Place reinforcing materials (rebar, wire mesh, embeds) per specifications.
• Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete.
• Support curing process and strip finished products from molds.
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, marking/stenciling).
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized; follow safety procedures.

What You'll Do

• Support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment

• Cut and tie wire/rebar as needed for reinforcement
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

What You'll Need

• Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, and kneeling) for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Availability for overtime, including weekends as needed
• Ability to work well on a team to meet production goals
• Basic math and reading skills (measurements, simple drawings)
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred

• High School Diploma or GED required
