Job summary

CMC is seeking team members to support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment. You will set up molds, place reinforcing materials, pour, level, finish, cure, and strip products as needed.

Ideal candidates have basic math/reading skills, strong teamwork, and a commitment to safety. High school diploma or GED is required; overtime may be necessary to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, and kneeling) for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Availability for overtime, including weekends as needed.
• Ability to work well on a team to meet production goals.
• Basic math and reading skills (measurements, simple drawings).
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment.
• Set up and prepare molds/forms (clean, assemble, apply release agents).
• Place reinforcing materials (rebar, wire mesh, embeds) per specifications.
• Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete.
• Support curing process and strip finished products from molds.
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, marking/stenciling).
• Cut and tie wire/rebar as needed for reinforcement.
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
