Job summary

SGS, a global leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification, is seeking a Laboratory Technician in the Atlanta metro area. You will perform quality control testing on construction products and materials, including concrete mixing, fabricating samples, and recording data according to applicable standards.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 0-3 years of laboratory testing experience; a related associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years laboratory testing experience.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC/QA testing on construction products and materials.
• Perform shoveling, mixing concrete, fabricating test samples.
• Record data and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical advice on testing techniques.
