Job summary

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support restoration projects in Richmond, VA. You will assist Project Managers with day-to-day management of concrete and masonry restoration, coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and preservation standards.

Ideal candidate holds a related bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of construction experience, proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant construction experience, preferably in restoration and historic masonry.
• Familiarity with restoration techniques and preservation guidelines.
• Strong technical, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and historical documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in day-to-day restoration project management.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and safety.
• Track materials, equipment, and deliveries.
• Assist in preparing estimates, take-offs, and proposals during pre-construction.
• Document updates, change orders, and issues.
• Ensure compliance with preservation standards and codes.
• Participate in project meetings and record minutes.
• Collaborate with field personnel to resolve technical issues and improve communication.
