Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Carpenter to build, erect, and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

The role requires reading a tape measure, lifting heavy materials, and working in challenging weather. The position is hourly and unionized under a collective bargaining agreement; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Candidates with 12+ months formwork/concrete experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour card is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor including site clean-up and material handling.
• Operate power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
• Maintain safety and balance during physical work.
• Assist in pouring vertical concrete.
• Install reshores per instructions.
• Learn vertical installations and framing/decking, material distinction.
• Read a tape measure.
• Work in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
