Job summary

Skilled-Trades-Partners is seeking dependable Concrete Carpenters to join our stripping crew in Augusta, Maine. You will strip, dismantle, and prep forms, assist with wood and metal form setting, and maintain a safe, organized site.

Ideal candidates have experience with concrete forms, read basic plans, and can lift 50+ lbs. This is steady, full-time work with health benefits and opportunities for advancement at a seasoned construction team.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete, formwork, carpentry, or construction preferred.
• Experience stripping concrete forms is a strong plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic construction plans.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Strip and dismantle concrete forms after concrete has cured.
• Safely remove formwork, bracing, shoring, and related materials.
• Clean, organize, and prepare forms for reuse.
• Assist with setting, assembling, and repairing wood and metal forms as needed.
• Handle lumber, panels, hardware, and construction materials.
• Assist carpenters and concrete crews with daily job-site tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Use hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production schedules.
