Job summary

Bruns Building & Development (BBD) is seeking a Concrete Foreman to lead the concrete crew in commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include forming, finishing, grading, and coordinating with the team to ensure high-quality results on schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years as a concrete finisher and 2 years in supervisory roles, with hands-on leadership and a commitment to our core values.

Qualifications

• Concrete Finisher with 2 years of experience.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
• Strong teamwork and leadership in a field setting.

Responsibilities

• Forming curb, driveways, and sidewalks.
• Perform quality interior and exterior concrete finishing.
• Operate power trowel and handle expansion joint saws.
• Work in a team environment and assist crew as needed.
• Demonstrate proper screed, bull/hand float, and rebar tying.

Division: Bruns Building & Development

Description: The applicant will be working in commercial construction settings. The Concrete Foreman will be responsible for the day to day operations of his assigned concrete crew. Responsibilities will include running grade, operating equipment, placement and tying of rebar, framing, forming, pouring and finishing concrete projects in a team setting. Responsibilities will progress as the applicant gains experience in the field, resulting in more independence and compensation. Must be a hands-on, self-motivated leader that aligns with our core values.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Skilled at forming curb, driveways, sidewalks
• Quality interior and exterior concrete finishing applications
• Operate power trowel properly (understand patterns)
• Use saw to cut expansion joints
• Work in a team environment
• Ability to screed, bull/hand float and rebar tying

Required Experience

• Concrete Finisher experience 2 years
• Supervisory experience 2 years
