Job summary

A Florida-based marine construction company is seeking skilled Concrete Foreman/Finishers to join their team. In this role, you will be tasked with smoothing and finishing concrete surfaces including floors, sidewalks, and roads. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in concrete work, the ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with various power tools. This position requires physical stamina and the possibility of travel for non-local projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in concrete finishing or general concrete work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.

BDI Marine Contractors, LLC is a Florida-based marine and civil construction company specializing in high-quality, efficient, and safe project delivery. We are currently seeking skilled Concrete Foreman/Finishers to join our growing team.

Job Summary

As a Concrete Foreman/Finisher, you will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete such as floors, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. You must be able to work efficiently with a team and perform physical labor in outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Set forms to required pitch and depth; ensure alignment, elevation, and contour


• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels


• Apply curing compounds or other surface treatments as needed


• Patch voids and use chisels or grinders to smooth high spots


• Follow all safety procedures and company policies


• Assist in site cleanup and material handling as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in concrete finishing or general concrete work


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications


• Familiar with hand tools, power trowels, and finishing equipment


• Must be physically able to perform demanding work (lifting, kneeling, standing for long periods)


• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required


• Willingness to travel for non-local projects if required
