Job summary

Boucon USA LLC is hiring a concrete foreman to lead field crews on construction sites in Georgia. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of concrete work while coordinating with supervisors and clients.

The role demands hands-on leadership, planning, and a commitment to craftsmanship on challenging projects. The position requires supervising crews, reading blueprints and measurements, managing equipment and materials, and ensuring compliance with GDOT and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising concrete crews and ensuring safety standards.
• Ability to operate and maintain construction equipment.
• Familiarity with GDOT maintenance and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and feedback skills.
• Ability to coordinate and direct team performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of crew, equipment and visitors by following OSHA standards.
• Read tape measure, blueprints and notes to plan work.
• Initiate daily performance dialogues and pass them down.
• Read and interpret instructions; plan activities.
• Obtain service work orders from supervisor.
• Review orders to ensure timely, properly staffed completion.
• Maintain database of concrete activities for crew.
• Adhere to SOPs for concrete operations.
• Assign work to the concrete crew.
• Review concrete estimates for new and existing work.

Responsibilities for concrete foreman

• Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment and client visitors to the work site by complying with company policies and procedures OSHA safety standards
• Read a tape measure, blueprints, and construction/engineering notes
• Initiate daily performance dialogues with foreman and ensure that those are dialogues are being passed down
• Reads and interprets instructions/documentation and plans work activities
• Obtains all service work orders from assigned supervisor
• Reviews all service orders and ensures they are completed on time, staffed properly and the quality of work meets approved standards
• Maintains database of all Concrete activities his crew performs
• Ensures the DCP Concrete SOP is strictly adhered to
• Assigns work to his concrete crew
• Reviews all concrete related estimates for new work and service work assigned to his crew

Qualifications for concrete foreman

• Extensive experience operating and performing preventive maintenance on maintenance equipment such as backhoes, farm tractors, forklifts, rubber-tired loaders, etc
• Possess the required level of computer skills necessary for this position
• Ability to successfully complete GDOT maintenance and safety procedural training
• Ability to successfully supervise others
• Ability to assist/teach others by guiding and providing constructive feedback
• Ability to successfully interact with others to influence, motivate, and challenge them
