About The Job
Brix Paving Northwest is seeking a dedicated and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and manage concrete crews on a variety of construction projects. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, including crew coordination, equipment management, and quality control, while ensuring strict adherence to OSHA safety standards. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality work on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct concrete crews, ensuring efficient execution of daily tasks.
- Oversee all phases of concrete work, including forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with material suppliers and ensure proper mix and quality control.
- Perform daily inspections of field equipment and enforce maintenance protocols.
- Ensure all work is completed to meet ADA, grading, and jurisdictional requirements.
- Monitor crew productivity, address inefficiencies, and implement solutions.
- Complete and submit daily job logs, crew timecards, and progress reports.
- Train and mentor crew members on safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other foremen to meet project deadlines.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of concrete construction experience in a foreman or leadership role.
- Valid driver’s license - Required
- Proven ability to supervise and lead crews effectively.
- Proficiency in concrete forming, finishing, and site preparation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and grading standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and occasional nights.
- Willingness to travel to various worksites with potential overnight stays.
- Capable of working in all weather conditions.
- Valid Class A CDL is a plus!
