Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs.
• Signals concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Spreads concrete into forms with rake or shovel.
• Level concrete to required depth using screed and floats.
• Finish surfaces with power trowel or by rubbing with abrasive stone.
• Mold expansion joints and edges with edging tools.
• Mix cement using hoe or concrete-mixing machine.
• Break up and repair old concrete surfaces.
