Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, seeks a skilled Concrete Finisher to read plans, form, pour and finish concrete on a variety of construction and paving projects in Arkansas and surrounding regions. The role emphasizes safety, quality finishes, and independent work within a team.

The successful candidate will operate with floats, trowels, screeds, templates, and hand tools, adhering to project specs while traveling to remote job sites and occasionally working nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must read project plans and perform concrete work with accuracy.
• Experience forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for construction.
• Construction field experience is a plus.
• Must be 18+ and pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.
• Willingness to travel to remote job sites and work nights/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by following policies and using proper PPE.
• Read and interpret project plans and specs to perform concrete work.
• Form, pour, and finish concrete to grade with a fine finish.
• Use floats, trowels, screeds, templates, shovels, and other tools safely.
• Lift and carry materials and tools as needed, sometimes over 100 lbs.
• Adhere to OSHA/MSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Coordinate with team and supervisors on daily tasks and priorities.
• Assist with other duties as project demands require.
