Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a concrete finisher to smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces, such as walks and curbs, using a range of hand and power tools. The role requires reading blueprints, setting forms, and applying decorative finishes as designed.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, ensure proper form construction, and maintain safety standards while contributing to high-quality workmanship on projects in the Tampa area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of blueprints.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools.
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutter.
• Patch voids.
• Utilize saws to cut expansion joints.
• Check forms that hold the concrete to ensure proper construction.
• Set and align forms to the desired pitch and depth.
• Spread, level & smooth concrete using trowel, screed and float.
• Mold expansion joints and edges.
