Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to smooth and finish surfaces for walks, sidewalks, roads, and curbs using hand and power tools. You will align forms, set pitches, spread and finish concrete, and monitor curing conditions, with a focus on quality and safety.

A minimum of two years of on-site concrete experience is expected, with knowledge of blueprints and good communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Knowledge of blueprints and layout helps.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools.
• Aligning forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; check forms for proper construction.
• Setting and aligning forms to correct pitch and depth.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete with trowels, screeds, and floats.
• Mold expansion joints and edges with edging tools and jointers.
• Monitor curing conditions affected by weather; ensure proper finish.
