Job summary

BrightView is hiring a Concrete Finisher to join our field operations. You will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, aligning forms, and setting forms for desired slopes and depths.

The role requires attention to curing conditions and the ability to execute decorative finishes as needed. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of concrete finishing experience, basic blueprint literacy, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Knowledge of blueprints and ability to interpret structural drawings is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete with hand and power tools.
• Align and set forms for sidewalks, curbs or gutters; patch voids.
• Spread, level and finish concrete using trowels, screed and floats.
• Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools and jointers.
• Monitor curing conditions affected by wind, heat or cold during the pour.
• Fabricate concrete elements and install anchors/fixtures for decorative finishes.
