Job summary

Hawkins Construction in Columbia, MO is seeking skilled Concrete Laborers/Finishers to join our expanding construction team. The role focuses on placement, leveling, and finishing concrete while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Candidates should have 3+ years of concrete or construction experience, 5+ years finishing experience, and a valid driver’s license; Class A CDL is preferred. Travel to job sites and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of concrete or construction experience preferred.
• 5+ years of concrete finishing experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to travel to job sites as assigned.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with all phases of concrete construction, including preparation, demolition, forming, placement, finishing, and cleanup.
• Set forms that hold concrete in place for sidewalks, curbs, floors, and driveways.
• Place, distribute, level, and finish concrete according to project specifications.
• Perform concrete finishing using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Assist with general labor duties to support efficient job-site operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company and job-site safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
