Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for Concrete Finishers/Laborers in MILWAUKEE, WI. Join a team supporting commercial construction projects, assisting with concrete placement, forms, and finishing on flatwork at new sites such as apartment buildings and hotels.

You will work with a lead worker, handle form setup, pours, and site safety while applying basic tools and teamwork to complete tasks on active sites. This contract-to-hire role offers onsite work in Milwaukee and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of concrete experience on commercial/flatwork projects.
• Hands-on concrete labor including pours and handling forms.
• Ability to use basic hand tools (hammers, trowels, measuring tools).
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Own basic personal tools (hammer, tape measure).

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead worker with daily concrete operations on commercial construction projects.
• Transport and position concrete forms as directed to prepare areas for flatwork pours.
• Wheelbarrow concrete from the delivery point to designated pour locations safely and efficiently.
• Help pour, spread, and support finishing activities for concrete flatwork on new construction projects.
• Tear down and remove concrete forms after curing, ensuring materials are organized for reuse.
• Use hand tools such as hammers, trowels, and measuring tools to support concrete placement and finishing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris and organizing tools and materials.
• Follow instructions from the lead worker and adhere to site safety guidelines and procedures.
• Lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
