B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to join our crew in Pasadena, TX. You will read drawings, construct and set forms, and assist with concrete placement on various structures, ensuring elevations are accurate and safety standards are met.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with diverse forming systems, and clear communication with supervisors to address issues and maintain project timelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience constructing wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Commitment to safety policies and guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, etc.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; may assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using a variety of materials and forming systems.
• Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob, level, laser, and/or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
