Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, and temperature tests, and cast cylinders on active job sites across Texas. You will document results the same day and support field operations in dynamic outdoor environments.

No experience is required for entry level; we provide on-the-job training and sponsor certifications including ACI Field Grade I and NICET levels as you progress. Travel to project sites with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• No experience required for entry level; we train and pay for your certifications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in Gulf Coast heat and winter sites.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
