Christman Constructors, Inc. is hiring a Concrete Field Superintendent to oversee field operations across Michigan projects. You will interpret construction documents, select methods, and supervise trades to ensure safety, quality, and on-schedule progress.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) or more years of work experience in construction or a related field.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees interpretation of construction documents and drawings, recommending methods and equipment.
• Ensures consistency with contractual specifications and requirements.
• Plans and coordinates site logistics, traffic patterns, equipment locations, and staging.
• Establishes site safety expectations and maintains daily safety training and awareness.
• Coordinates with project manager, client, and trade contractors to develop a work plan and meet schedule milestones.
• Discusses quality expectations with trade foremen and arranges pre-installation coordination meetings.
