Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Columbus, OH is seeking an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will support estimating, take-offs, and bid preparation for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities include setting up estimates with pricing, conducting concrete take-offs, and delivering project data to operations for execution. Required Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering; experience with structural concrete estimating and familiarity with negotiated and hard

Qualifications

• Experience with structural concrete estimating is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in estimating for a Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor is a plus.
• Familiarity with a variety of project types, with an emphasis on Commercial/Industrial construction.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices, with experience on projects over $1 million.
• Knowledge of negotiated bids and hard bids.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up estimates, including correct alternates, general conditions, and accurate pricing for vendors/subcontractors.
• Conduct take-offs, quantifying concrete scope items using take-off software.
• Provide correct project information to turnover and planning teams.
• Validate that detailed information is delivered to operations for project execution.
• Support bidding efforts for commercial and industrial projects.
