Job summary

Cogentanalytics is seeking a hardworking Construction Operator to perform concrete sawing, drilling, cutting, and selective demolition on commercial and industrial sites in the Raleigh–Durham area. You will operate a range of diamond and demolition tools, maintain equipment, and complete jobsite documentation with a focus on safety and quality.

Requirements include CDL Class A, at least 1 year of relevant experience, the ability to lift 45 lbs+, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in concrete sawing, core drilling, or demolition.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate/maintain equipment.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs+ and work in variable weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment daily between yard and job sites.
• Operate concrete sawing and demolition tools (wall saw, wire saw, core drill, flat saw, hand saws, ring saws, compressor tools).
• Perform accurate cuts/drills per job specifications.
• Review work area for tools before leaving site.
• Complete field tickets and document measurements as required.
• Communicate job status and delays to dispatch/management.
