Job summary

Cogent Analytics, on behalf of our Raleigh–Durham area client, seeks a hardworking Construction Helper to support Operators in performing concrete sawing, drilling, cutting, and selective demolition services. This role is physically demanding and emphasizes safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

You will help prepare jobsites, transport tools, assist with equipment, and maintain vehicles and PPE. Opportunities for training and advancement toward an Operator role exist within 1–2 years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous construction or labor experience helpful but not required.
• Strong physical stamina and willingness to perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support Operators in setting up and transporting equipment to jobsites.
• Prepare jobsites by unloading tools and staging equipment.
• Assist in handling debris, slurry, and material removal.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; report issues promptly.
