Job summary

Cogent Analytics is partnering with a Raleigh-Durham area contractor to hire a Concrete Cutting & Core Drilling Operator. The role covers sawing, drilling, cutting, and selective demolition on commercial and industrial sites, requiring the operation of diamond and demolition tools.

You will maintain equipment, complete field tickets, and ensure safety standards are followed, including PPE and OSHA compliance. A CDL Class A license and 1 year of concrete experience are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in concrete sawing, core drilling, or demolition.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate/maintain equipment.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs+ and work in variable weather conditions.
• Safety-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety standards, procedures, and regulations at all times.
• Operate a variety of concrete sawing and demolition tools (wall saw, wire saw, core drill, etc.).
• Transport equipment between yard and job sites and perform daily maintenance checks.
• Complete field tickets and document measurements and job status.
• Communicate job status, delays, or issues to dispatch/field management in a timely manner.
