Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction L.L.C. in Houston, TX is seeking a Construction Intern to gain hands-on experience in formwork design, project estimating, scheduling, and safety tracking.

You will work alongside project teams to resolve design challenges and prepare proposals and quantity takeoffs, while contributing to special assignments and broader project needs. This internship is designed as a one-on-one learning experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing relevant bachelor’s degree in civil/construction fields.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or BIM modeling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel and work on project sites outside office area.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and estimating to ensure efficient form systems.
• Prepare formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
• Monitor safety, cost, and scheduling of projects with the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design concerns with the project team.
• Assist in quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and proposals.
• Coordinate material purchases, deliveries, and forecasting.
• Assist in special projects and broader organizational needs.
