Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Carpenter to build, erect, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. You will read plans, measure, cut, assemble, and install forms for foundations, walls and slabs, while adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting with vertical concrete pours, handling materials, and operating hand and power tools. The role requires physical stamina and readiness to work in varying weather conditions on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
• Able to read a tape measure and follow layout instructions.
• Able to operate and learn use of power tools and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor including jobsite clean-up and material handling.
• Operate motorized equipment and power tools (saws, hammers, nails, bolts).
• Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing formwork.
• Read measurements and follow project specifications and safety standards.
• Adapt to weather conditions and onsite hazards.
