B&B Concrete is seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter in Champaign, IL to perform a range of carpentry tasks related to concrete structures under a Foreman. The role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and hands-on building activity from formwork to site work.

You will read construction drawings, fabricate and set forms for footings, columns, tilt-up panels, and other cast-in-place elements, while maintaining tools and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work weekends if needed.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble tilt up panels.
• Able to form footings, column pads and other structural concrete.
• Install and align embedded items such as anchor bolts, inserts and lifting hardware.
• Assist with layout as needed.
• Strip forms after panels are poured.
• Maintain and keep track of tools.
