Job summary

McPherson Concrete Storage Systems, Inc. in Wichita, KS or McPherson, KS is seeking a Drafter to create and revise 2D and 3D CAD models and production drawings for concrete components based on engineered plans and project documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers and other drafters, review drawings for accuracy, and assist with submittals while maintaining organized files and supporting on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience in precast concrete or construction drafting preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software; SolidWorks, Titan, Revit or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD models and production drawings.
• Prepare production drawings from engineered plans and project documentation.
• Work with engineers and other drafters to develop accurate drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy and project requirements.
• Maintain organized electronic drawing files and project documentation.
• Assist with project submittals and material identification.
