Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a concierge for The American Club to assist guests with reservations for dining, spa, golf, wellness and outdoor activities, and to provide hotel tours and transportation.

This onsite role requires hospitality experience, flexibility to work holidays, nights, and weekends, and strong English communication. You will share local knowledge, provide directions and brochures, and coordinate with room service and shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hospitality/lodging experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work holidays, nights and weekends.
• Demonstrated knowledge of local areas strongly preferred.
• Must be able to communicate written and verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Make reservations for dining, spa, golf, wellness activities, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and other guest needs.
• Provide guests with daily hotel tours.
• Provide access to the business center.
• Assist with guest check-in/out as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of resort properties, hours of operation, local attractions, and Kohler history.
• Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and local attractions, brochures, directions, maps, and weather/road conditions.
• Inform room service of amenity deliveries and communicate daily activities to shifts.

Service Responsibilities

• Responsible for making reservations for future or in-house guests for dining, spa, golf, wellness activities, outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, trap shooting, etc., airline reservation, and transportation.
• Provide guests with daily hotel tours.
• Provide access to the business center.
• Assist with guest check in/out as needed.

Information Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of all resort properties and onsite facilities including hours of operation, as well as daily activities and area attractions. Also have a detailed knowledge of the history of Kohler and the assigned hotel.
• Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and history.
• Provide brochures on the hotel and local attractions. Also fill brochure rack when necessary.
• Provide directions and maps, including walking trails, city map, or state maps. Also provide guest with weather or road conditions.

Message and Amenity Responsibilities

• Inform room service of amenity deliveries and fill out the necessary information.
• Inform other shifts of daily activities through the use of the concierge logbook or notes.
• Inform supervisor of any problems or unusual circumstances.

Skills/Requirements

The hourly range for this position is $14.50 - $21.70. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
