GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Ambassador in Decatur, IL. The role emphasizes customer service, identity verification, and guiding visitors across a rotating 12-hour schedule (6am–6pm).

You will perform access control, patrols, and incident response to protect people and property. Qualifications include US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of security and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to provide required documentation.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of security experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer use.
• State license if required.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify identity, and guide them appropriately.
• Manage access control and monitor entry points.
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and convey security concerns.
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property.

As a Security Ambassador – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Qualifications for Concierge Security Ambassador

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• You must have 1 year Security experience
• You must have 1 year supervisory experience
