Job summary

GardaWorld Security is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Washington, DC. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining secure environments in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

You will engage with visitors, perform access control, and conduct patrols across various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and overnights. A flexible schedule is required to meet site needs and you will be part of GardaWorld’s trusted security team.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Active screening process
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• 3+ years of Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience
• Active DCSO Guard License (if required)
• 21+ years of age or older as required by law
• Phone & computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and verifying identity
• Manage access control
• Conduct regular patrols to identify risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure safety of individuals and property
