Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in the Washington, DC area. This role emphasizes customer service, welcoming visitors, verifying identities, and guiding guests while maintaining strong access control and vigilance across multiple sites.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience, be authorized to work in the U.S., and hold CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of 3+ years
• State license if required
• Active DCSO Guard License
• At least 21 years of age as required by law
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Phone skills and computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify identity, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
