Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• 3+ years security, military, or law enforcement experience
• DC Special Police Officer (Unarmed) or DC Security Officer license
• At least 21 years of age as required by law or contract
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Phone skills and computer literacy
• Must complete a 40 hour basic training course

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and guiding visitors; verify identity
• Manage access control procedures
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property
