Job summary

Harvard Protection Services is hiring a Security Guard Concierge for a high-end office environment in Oldwick, NJ. You will greet visitors, control access, and support daily operations while maintaining a strong security presence.

The role requires a security guard license (or ability to obtain one), a minimum high school diploma, and reliable transportation. Excellent interpersonal skills and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• State or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and neat and professional appearance.
• Write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and guests in a professional manner.
• Maintain a visible security presence in the assigned building.
• Monitor for suspicious or unsafe activity and report it.
• Know incoming/outgoing traffic and familiar with tenants and guests.
• Enforce facility policies within the position’s limits.
• Perform patrols on foot or by vehicle as required.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Follow emergency action plans and procedures.
• Monitor alarms and systems; prepare incident reports.
