Job summary

The Blake at Panama City Beach is seeking a friendly Concierge for the 4pm–8pm shift. You will deliver high level hospitality to residents, guests and staff, greet visitors, answer phones, and keep the lobby tidy.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, two years general office/reception experience, and strong communication skills. Experience with older adults is a plus. This PT role supports a welcoming, professional environment in our resort-style senior living community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Two years general office/reception experience.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.
• Professional and polished with proper grammar and pleasant voice.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities of the Concierge (PT 4pm-8pm):

• Fulfills front desk responsibilities to include answering the phone courteously with proper greetings and directs visitors appropriately, to ensure appropriate in/out procedures are followed


• Ensures that lobby and front porch area is clean and free of trash


• Assist with activities conducted in the lobby near phone and front door and leading of weekend/evening activities when less traffic occurs.


• Assist with other general office tasks upon request.

Requirements

Education/Experience

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others


• High School Diploma/GED


• Two years general office experience, including reception experience.


• Experience working with the older adult population (preferred)


• Professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone.


• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills


• Ability to work in team environment.


• Must be attentive to details, able to multi-task, and work with multiple interruptions.


• Basic knowledge with Microsoft Word (preferred).
