The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a Concierge to deliver exceptional, guest‑centric service and help guests explore the city’s rich history and culture. You will coordinate dining, transportation, and local experiences while supporting Front Desk operations.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, plus knowledge of Milwaukee venues, are highly desired. This is a part-time, hourly role offering meaningful guest interactions and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Must provide exceptional guest service and anticipate guest needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and front desk processes preferred.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver personalized service to create memorable experiences.
• Coordinate dining reservations, transportation, tours, events, and local experiences.
• Provide recommendations on local restaurants, attractions, and cultural events.
• Assist Front Desk with inquiries, reservations, check-in/check-out, and billing questions.
• Coordinate VIP guest requests and experiences across departments.
• Address guest concerns proactively to ensure a seamless stay.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and hotel staff to exceed expectations.
• Lead and promote the hotel's Art Tour Program to share history and art.

What You Will Be Doing

• Deliver exceptional, personalized service by welcoming guests warmly and anticipating needs to create memorable experiences.
• Arrange and coordinate guest services, including dining reservations, transportation, entertainment, tours, special events, and other local experiences.
• Provide expert recommendations on local restaurants, attractions, cultural events, and entertainment tailored to guest interests.
• Support Front Desk operations as needed, including guest inquiries, reservations, check-in/check-out assistance, and billing questions.
• Manage VIP guest experiences by coordinating special requests, preferences, amenities, and recognition opportunities across departments.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively, ensuring a seamless and exceptional stay experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with local vendors and internal departments to deliver outstanding service and exceed guest expectations.
• Promote and lead the hotel's signature Art Tour Program while sharing the property's history, artwork, and traditions to enrich the guest experience.

Position Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Exceptional guest service, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and create memorable guest experiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment, with the capacity to independently resolve guest concerns in a professional manner.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Desk procedures, reservations, billing, and guest services, or the ability to quickly learn operational processes.
• Knowledge of Milwaukee's restaurants, attractions, entertainment, and local events preferred; enthusiasm for local history, art, and culture strongly desired.
• Proficiency with hotel technology systems, including Opera Property Management System and standard computer applications, preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
