Job summary

BECU in Washington state is seeking a friendly Part-time Concierge to create a welcoming first impression for members and guide them through their financial journey with the right resources and services.

You’ll manage member flow, schedule appointments, keep spaces inviting, and demonstrate BECU’s remote access tools to boost member independence while supporting a consistent, high-quality service standard across locations in Tukwila and Covington.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in sales-focused financial or retail customer service.
• Proficient PC skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with warm, prompt, and professional service.
• Streamline branch traffic by directing members to the right teams.
• Coordinate and track appointments for location staff.
• Maintain a clean, inviting member area.

You’ll skillfully guide members through their financial journey by connecting them to the right resources, services, and solutions. Your proactive approach, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for helping others will ensure members feel supported and valued from the moment they walk through the door.Travel Expectations:Training will take place at our Tukwila Financial Center as well as our Covington Neighborhood Financial CenterReliable transportation and commitment/ability to travel to Tukwila and Covington is requiredTraining Schedule:3-4 weeks, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, FridayVariable shifts between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMPost-Training Schedule:Our part-time Concierge is typically scheduled an average of 24 hours per week.Regular Schedule:Monday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM*Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM*Saturday: 8:45 AM - 1:15 PMTuesday or Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM*Weekday start times may be adjusted later if needed.Please note: Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays will be regularly scheduled.
