Job summary

Sollis Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under physician supervision and to handle key clerical tasks. You will contribute to clinical procedures and ensure front desk operations run smoothly, delivering personalized, efficient, and compassionate care.

The role involves clinical duties such as vital signs, histories, wound care, phlebotomy, EKGs, and lab processing, along with reception tasks and patient communication. A 7a-7p shift pattern is noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a National Medical Assistant training program is expected.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Technician certification is strongly preferred.
• BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient vital signs, height, and weight in Athena Health.
• Take medical histories and perform screening procedures as directed.
• Assist with basic wound care, phlebotomy, EKGs, and splinting (with training).
• Perform front desk duties including check-in/out and documentation.
• Prepare, process, and run lab tests per Sollis Health protocols.
• Communicate observations/concerns to the health care team.
• Support emergency care as a team member under supervision.
• Provide welcoming environment and exceptional customer service.
• Assist patient mobility and transfers with proper body mechanics.
• Maintain cleanliness and health/safety compliance.
