Job summary

Sollis Health Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under physicians, while handling clerical tasks and front desk operations. You will assist with clinical procedures, collect vitals, take medical histories, and perform basic wound care, phlebotomy, EKGs, and splinting with training.

You will process labs, document in Athena Health EMR, communicate observations to the healthcare team, help with patient mobility, and maintain a welcoming, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Completion of a National Medical Assistant training program required.
• EMTs highly considered.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Technician strongly preferred.
• BLS or CPR certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient vital signs, height, and weight in the EMR.
• Take medical histories and perform screening procedures as directed.
• Assist with basic wound care, phlebotomy, EKGs, and splinting (with training).
• Perform front desk duties, including patient check-in/out and documentation.
• Prepare, process, and run lab tests per Sollis Health protocols.
• Communicate observations and concerns clearly to the healthcare team.
• Support emergency care efforts as part of the team.
• Provide a welcoming environment and exceptional customer service.
• Assist patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and health/safety compliance.
• Perform related duties as requested.
