Job summary

KerixHealth is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to support patient care and administrative duties in our Deerfield, IL area clinics. You will perform phlebotomy, vital signs, and specimen collection, and assist physicians in clinical tasks while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating referrals, managing records in the EMR, and contributing to a collaborative care team focused on proactive, personable patient service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in phlebotomy.
• Minimum of 4 years in an LPN role.
• Computer skills including Google Docs and EMR systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; take vital signs and collect specimens for lab testing.
• Schedule appointments, X-rays, and procedures.
• Administer medications by various routes.
• Provide case management and referrals to other providers.
• Obtain and scan medical records into EMR; document requests.
