POSITION SUMMARYThe Concierge serves as a welcoming and helpful presence in our community, providing personalized assistance and support to residents and their families. This role involves greeting visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere, logging deliveries, answering phones, taking messages for admin team, patrolling the exterior grounds, light housekeeping and assisting care team with resident needs. The Concierge plays a vital role in enhancing the overall safety and flow of the community.RESPONSIBILITIESInclude but are not limited to the following:Provide information and support by serving as a knowledgeable resource for residents and visitors.Facilitate reception and security duties during the evening shift.Promote resident and staff safety.May assist in handling resident requests and resolving issues or escalate to other department members as needed.Assist with resident transfers and nightly care, housekeeping, security rounds and reception work.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience:Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.Experience in customer service.Experience in residential careKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Exceptional communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with residents and staff through both verbal and written means.Knowledge and understanding of services provided by the Community to ensure well-being and satisfaction.Teamwork and collaboration abilities to work with other staff members are in the best interest of the residents.Problem-solving abilities to promptly address concerns or complaints, with the ability to quickly pivot from one task to the next.
